How instant wins work

What is an instant win?

On selected competitions, cash and credit prizes are hidden across the ticket numbers in advance. When you enter, your tickets are checked against them on the spot. If one matches, you win instantly and the prize is added to your account.

Am I still in the main draw?

Yes. Instant wins are a bonus on top. Every ticket also goes into the main prize draw when the competition closes.

Can I win instantly for free?

The free postal entry route always qualifies for the main draw. Instant-win eligibility for postal entries is set out in each competition’s terms and on the free entry page.
